   New Life Baptist Church of East Houston was established to bring the Love and Compassion of Jesus Christ to the East Houston community by providing the lost with the Good News of the salvation found in faith in Jesus Christ, to equip believers with the tools necessary for spiritual warfare, the opportunity to serve the Lord Jesus Christ utilizing each believer's “spiritual gifts;” providing each new convert, and mature believer with the discipleship necessary to create and maintain Godly relationships, establish a biblical foundation for the management of the home, and empowering each believer with the skills, and confidence necessary to begin and maintain personal evangelism whenever the opportunity may present itself. 

   We invite you to worship with us as you are, where you are, in whatever condition the Lord has found you in, and called you from, to enjoy fellowship with others who have chosen to follow Christ where ever He may lead! 

   We invite you to grow with us as we unashamedly read and learn God's Word, His undying, infallible love letter to us, and learn how to use this love letter to impact your life, and the lives of those you come into contact with!

   We invite you to become a part of this local body of Christ, as we run the race of our faith together ministering to a lost and hurting community!  

   We invite you to seek after God's will for your life, to grow in His grace, and discover the ministry He has in store for you!

   We challenge you to find your niche in the Family of God either here with us or wherever the Lord may plant you!

At New Life Baptist Church of East Houston we worship according to the Word of God, not popular thought, politics, or old dead traditions no one understands or can tolerate.  We believe God wants each and every one of us to have a relationship with Him, Godly relationships with others, and for each of us to find the purpose God intended for our life, and then do what God intended for us to do.  So it goes without saying every one of us needs to know how to meet God, and what it takes to begin a relationship with Him.
The amazing part about a relationship with God is He has already taken care of all the requirements.  We as sinful man must learn what God has done for us, learn how He did it, and what we must do to establish a true connection with Him to get the relationship started. 
 
The following scriptures are known as the Romans Road to Salvation.  They are a set of key scriptures throughout the book of Romans that lay out what is needed to obtain a true loving relationship the God. The beauty of God's plan is rather simple! Rather than asking man to perform an impossible list of chores to earn God's love, God has asked us to agree with Him about who He really is, how we has His creation have failed, accept our failure, and then ask forgiveness for that failure.  Once we have believed on Jesus Christ as Lord, and Saviour, and placed God on the throne of our lives, a true relationship with God begins!
As recorded in John 3:16-18 Jesus said “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Jesus Christ spoke these words to Nicodemus a Pharisee and ruler who should have understood the Jewish Law, 613 Laws of Moses, found in the first five books of the Bible, was pointing people to the Promised One, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. One of the costliest mistakes made by man is believing he can come before a Holy and Righteous God with his own good works of righteousness, and believe they are good enough to allow him entrance into heaven.

The Romans Road to Salvation is for understanding the Biblical truths Jesus was teaching Nicodemus. And like Nicodemus you too can find that simple biblical truth Jesus Christ wants each of us to find for ourselves. Without saving faith in Jesus Christ all hope of heaven and eternal life are lost. If you have never placed your faith in JESUS CHRIST we invite you to read these short passages, and begin a new relationship with the creator God!


The Romans Road to Salvation

Romans 3:10-11 There is none righteous, not even one;

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

Romans 10:13 For “whoever will call on the name of the lord will be saved.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
