In July 2010 New Life Baptist Church of East Houston  Music Minister Michelle Egbert and her husband Douglas got the opportunity to join Houston's largest Christian radio station KSBJ, Global Expeditions, and the Newsboys to build a home for a family, and provide Vacation Bible School for the children of  the Maclovio Rojas neighborhood of Tijuana Mexico.  They also had the opportunity to perform street ministry along side Baja Christian Ministries, a local bible centered ministry that believes the best way to reach people of this area is to show them the love of Christ in us, and them tell them where the love comes from. Their approach opened so many doors of opportunity for ministry, and relationship building!
